ReStore
In 2011 we opened up a "ReStore" in the old school building on 14th Street in Apalachicola. Your material donations (new or used) may then be sold to the public to generate funds for a future Habitat home!
We would like to say “Thank You” Franklin County for your generous support at our Grand Opening in summer of 2011. We are truly blessed to live in an area that “takes care of their own!” The funds that we raised go right back into our building fund to enable us to build affordable housing here in Franklin County for those in need.
We would like to thank the IGA in Apalachicola for supplying the Hot Dogs, Buffalo Rock of Panama City for supplying the drinks, and a special thank you to Mishelle of “Sign-de-Sign” for our new ReStore road signs!

St. James Bay Golf adopts Habitat
This spring of 2011, Steve Hatch (PGA Pro) suggested to the Franklin Habitat board that the golf club begin to regularly donate portions of their tournament proceeds to Habitat. He felt that the club was in a position to do something about Affordable Housing, and should. Habitat accepted.

Don and Pam Ashley (seated at right) have run the fundraising effort for the affiliate since day 1 (2003). Our traditional February Mardi Gras will be at the Apalachicola armory in 2012, and the new fall Dixie Theater event in October 2012 will be big. WATCH FOR IT!
